At GBS Commercial Cleaning we take a green approach to janitorial and maintenance services. This is reflected in the products and equipment we use. The following is a list of some of the products and equipment we use and some of the benefits that businesses and the environment enjoy as a result.
Backpack Vacuums
More ergonomic than upright vacuums.
Enable our staff to work more quickly.
More effective in getting to hidden or hard to reach dirt.
Clean better and are quieter than upright vacuums.
Engineered to hold onto the dirt that they capture and filter the air they release.
Four levels of filtration (including a HEPA filter).
We use “Sidewinder” vacuum tools.
Microfiber Technology: Cleaning towels, mops & dusters
Microfiber fabrics launder better, clean better, last longer and are color coded to prevent cross-contamination. For example, we won’t clean your microwave with the rag we cleaned toilets with last night.
- Blue: windows, glass, mirrors, chrome
- Green: toilets, urinals and surrounding areas. We never use a green cloth anywhere else. You won’t see it in your kitchen.
- Yellow: general purpose cleaning of other areas
All microfiber clothes are laundered by color as well, to ensure that there is no cross-contamination.
